KILLER QUEEN

Inspired by the lyrics of the song “Queen” by Killer Queen, this illustrations are a contribution to a collaborative piece. Each conceptual visual illustration were inspired by the verse, “caviar and cigarettes, well-versed in etiquette.” The concept behind these images is to bring awareness of the women oppression by the patriarchy system, in which she is forced to live pretending to be someone else.

In this visual piece, my focus was on highlighting the lyrics that formed the basis for the conceptual illustrations in the zine. The repetitive verses suggest a longing to embody the persona of a woman leading a dual life.

In this visual composition, I aimed to craft a conceptual image representing the falsehoods this woman propagated to society regarding her true identity.
